Fantastic Forest Experience

As part of the second annual Splash Floating Water Festival, Mark acted as Director of the Fantastic Forest Experience, which took place in the York Region Metro Road Tract on Friday August 17th, 2012. Mark designed an event that immersed participants in a world of mythology, music, art, sensory activities, talking trees and mystery.

The main message was: Water is Life and water's relationship with forests is symbiotic and all- encompassing. The connection between forests and the health of our waters is not just important but essential for life on this planet. The two day Splash event is an attempt to float a wonderfully big Lake Simcoe idea of an Ontario Water Centre for Innovation, Research and Learning here in Georgina.
